The 400 ASA association is interested in the classical values of photography without regard to genre. Its members are primarily involved in documentary photographs. In an attempt to make use of the heritage of Czech documentary work and its visual aspects, the association was established by the photographers Karel Cudlín, Jan Dobrovský, Alžběta Jungrová, Antonín Kratochvíl, Jan Mihaliček, Tomki Němec and Martin Wágner.
